The itinerary we suggest you starts from Via Gramsci up to Corso Garibaldi, covering all the historical
centre.

At the beginning of the ss 16 (wich goes to Teramo) turn on the right at the traffic light: you take Via Gramsci. On your left you can admire the remains of a roman villa.

Running through Via Gramsci you reach the hospital, in front of which there is the Piccola Opera Caritas, where you can visit the Trevisan exhibition hall.

At the end of Via Gramsci you'll reach Piazza della Libertą,the historical centre: you can here admire the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, Cermignani House and the splendid panorama from the Belvedere. You can also visit the de' Bartolemei Chapel and the hall where statues of the sculptor Pagliaccetti are
exhibited.

Going on Corso Garibaldi, on your right there are the Library and the Art Gallery "V.Bindi". After the City Hall, on your left there is the musician G.Braga's house.

Reached the traffic light, you can turn on the left to admire the "White Tower", or also go straight to admire Villas in Liberty style.

THE CHURCHES - |

The itinerary we suggest you goes from San Pietro e Paolo to the Nativity of the Virgin Maria.

Starting from the Lungomare, in front of the bathing chalet Caprice, you follow Via Gasbarrini and turn on the left at the traffic light (you take Viale Orsini). After 200 metres you reach the Church of San Paolo and Pietro, recently built.

After having followed all Viale Orsini and all Via Trieste, you reach Via Di Vittorio, at the left of which you can admire the Church of the Annunziata, even this one recently built

Going on Via Di Vittorio, you take on your left Via Simoncini and then Via Annunziata: on the fly-over before the traffic light you can admire the most ancient church of Giulianova, several times rebuild and changed.

After the traffic light, turn on the right taking Via Gramsci. Before reaching the hospital, you can admire the Benedectines' monastery on your right. Going on Via Gramsci, you reach Piazza della Libertą, on the left of which there is the Church of Sant' Antonio, rich in baroque decorations and bas-reliefs.

After taking Corso Garibaldi, before the city hall you find the Cathedral of San Flaviano, originally called S.Maria in Platea, first example of church with an octagonal base in the coasts of Abruzzo.

At the end of Corso Garibaldi, you take Viale dello Splendore, at the end of which you reach the Sanctuary of Maria dello Splendore, built up after the apparition of the Virgin. Of great suggestion is the Monumental Via Crucis, with bronze statues realized by the sculptor Ubaldo Ferretti.

After visiting the Sanctuary, you take Via dello Splendore on its way back, and at the traffic light turn on the left and run through via Montello. Once reached the ss16, turn on the right and after 800 metres, at the corner of ss16 and Via Thaon de Revel, there is the very beautiful church of the Nativity of Maria Vergine.
